I've got one (the youngest) who is like your kids. She does not mess around & wants to get it done! Her big sis, however, takes FOREVER! I couldn't believe my eyes when I read that you do language/phonics and math all in an hour! I'm so jealous!! Spelling alone takes my daughter at least 20 minutes on most days. Language Lessons, another 20, and math is usually 30-60 minutes, depending on if it's a new concept or if we play math games. Our days have been know to drag out to five hours! Yes, you read that correctly! And yes, it drives me nuts! Breaks are nice, but I'd like to just get it done so we can enjoy the rest of the day. Oh well, each one is different and I'm glad to have the flexibility. There's no school system that would have the manpower to monitor my daughter to make sure she's getting her work done minute by minute. I'm so blessed!Lisahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17955632440332747542noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5963693564995544317.post-39958329185477311902010-03-26T00:04:25.948-04:002010-03-26T00:04:25.948-04:00Sounds like heaven to me... my world is C~R~A~Z~Y ...Sounds like heaven to me... my world is C~R~A~Z~Y with little ones running in and around, climbing on me, going potty in diapers, on toilets, on floors...needing this or that. Argghhhh... My older one is so distractable.... sorry... I had a rough day with her schooling. Some days they just can not focus! Today was her day. Rough for me... My kids are picky about everything they eat, too. Oatmeal seems like a no-brainer, but amazingly I find that most people can't make it. My kids think I am the only one that can, too.
